We are delighted to welcome Victoria Prentice as our new Business Manager.

Return to blog
Since graduating from Edinburgh University in Business Studies Victoria has found her passion working in the hospitality industry.

Victoria has managed restaurants in St Andrews including Forgans and Mitchells Deli as well as a period working as Deputy General Manager at Tigerlily, a boutique hotel, restaurant, and bar in Edinburgh.

Many of you will have met and have been welcomed by Charlotte, who has returned to University to study to be a home economics teacher, but who will continue to work as a key member of our team here each Tuesday and Wednesday.

Although the venues have all differed in style one element is consistent throughout; to provide a 5* customer experience.

Victoria now brings her skills and expertise to become the new business manager here at the Hideaway Experience.

When she is not working hard, Victoria has a real love for travel (unfortunately not this year though), her most memorable trip being a ten week jaunt around the globe visiting places such as Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Jamaica and even Hawaii.

Food and drink is naturally in her blood and she enjoys nothing better than a charcuterie sharing platter, nice bottle of wine and good company.
When asked what she was most looking forward to about working at the hideaway experience she said the rural aspect … getting to work in a pretty and idyllic location alongside lots of animals.

We are sure you will wish Victoria all the best in her new role.
