The Hideaway Experience was recently showcased in Scotland’s Greatest Escape, a new BBC programme that has set out to find Scotland’s best getaway. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to be rated alongside accommodation of the same "luxury" category as our own. The exposure was fantastic for our local area and the healthy competition does wonders to fuel that internal drive!
Over 1000 diffferent accommodation businesses applied and 21 were selected to take part in the programme.
We are the first accommodation to air on the show and first to receive our rating… a nail-biting prospect. Our guests, Karen & Karen really enjoyed themselves in our Lovers Hideaway and scored us an impressive 39/40. Scotland’s Greatest Escapes took some outstanding footage of The Hideaway Experience, our local countryside and even our cows were awarded some screen time!
