JOB DESCRIPTION
We are recruiting for a part-time housekeeping supervisor to work at our luxury tourism accommodation business on the outskirts of Dundee.
The position is a HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR working 4 shifts a week. The successful candidate needs to be flexible and available to work Monday-Friday and be available to work one weekend in a month. Hours will vary but will be no earlier than 10am and no later than 4pm. Approx 16-20 hours a week.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will live within 5 miles and no more than 10 miles of DD3 0RA. On-site accommodation can be discussed for the post holder if they wish to relocate.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. cleaning our luxury Hideaways to a very high standard, polishing, setting up for guests arriving, checking over the property with an impeccable eye for detail to ensure quality standards are upheld
2. checking the work of other housekeepers in the team and reporting on performance
3. testing & maintaining hot tubs and recording data
4. being responsible for the deep cleaning schedule
5. checking facilities in working order and reporting any maintenance issues
6. monitoring stock levels including linen & assisting the Manager with the operations of the business
7. welcoming guests from time to time when the Manager is on holiday or has a day off
No experience is necessary as full training will be given but previous experience in a housekeeping role and/or supervisory housekeeping role is preferred. A positive, "can do" attitude, cheerful personality, good communication skills, good work ethic, excellent time keeping and reliability are essential.
